CSS’ Our Lady of Guadalupe Center (OLGC) is a vibrant hub of empowerment and support for the Latino community. Catholic Social Services supports families with children aged 0-5 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Center located in Columbus and the Our Lady of Hope Center in Newark, OH.
Little Blessings/Pequeñas Bendiciones works to address the nutrition, health, parenting, and well-being needs of families with infants and toddlers with supplemental nutrition support, empowerment programming, nutritional classes, meal planning, baby supplies, parenting classes, and resource connection to improve overall family wellbeing.

Catholic Social Services’ St. Francis Center (SFC) is a food pantry and clothing center currently serving Vinton County in rural southeastern Ohio.
In addition to our on-site food pantry, we operate a mobile food pantry out of our van. The mobile pantry visits three small villages in Vinton County each -week and two more villages bi-weekly. Many of the people we serve live in food deserts (rural areas without a grocery store in a ten-mile radius) and would lack access to fresh, nutritious food without our mobile pantry.

Our JOIN homelessness prevention program serving Franklin, Licking, Muskingum, and Vinton counties, provides access to food, financial emergency assistance, and financial literacy.
JOIN helps prevent homelessness by addressing both immediate needs and long-term stability. Food support reduces the pressure on families who may be forced to choose between buying groceries and paying rent, utilities, or other essential bills. Emergency assistance, such as help with rent, transportation, medical costs, or utility payments, can stop a temporary crisis from turning into eviction or housing loss.
Financial literacy also plays an important role because it teaches people how to budget, save, manage debt, and plan for unexpected expenses. Together, these services give individuals and families the support and skills they need to remain housed, recover from difficult situations, and build a more secure future.
