Case Management
Our team works together with our clients to lay out a vision for a better future for our clients and their families, and we develop a plan and work toward it together using a combination of individual and family development, community assets, advocacy, and basic needs assistance. Care is given in the context of encouragement. This is a core component of our Intensive Family Services program.

Food and Emergency Assistance
Each year, Catholic Social Services provides nearly 100,000 meals and utility assistance for 1,500 families. This assistance is available through the Our Lady of Guadalupe Center in Columbus, and the St. Francis Center in Portsmouth.
Transitional Housing
Moving a mom and her small children out of shelter into a new home is a key part of keeping the family safe and helping them build a new future for themselves. This is a core component of our Pathways to Hope program.

Pathways to Hope
The Pathways to Hope program addresses homelessness and domestic violence in the Columbus, Ohio area. Pathways steps in to empower survivors of domestic violence with children by offering two years of case management. By supporting survivors and their children as they leave the homeless shelter, we help them rebuild their lives in safe homes, with stable incomes and a network of healthy, supportive relationships.
