Since 1945, Catholic Social Services (CSS) has been a source of compassion, dignity, and hope for those Christ calls us to serve throughout our community. Serving almost 17,000 individuals annually, our mission is supported by dedicated volunteers who help seniors find connection, guide families towards a brighter future, and assist persons with disabilities find new freedom. Rooted in the belief that every person reflects the image of God, we journey together as neighbors, empowering individuals to shape their own futures with our unwavering support.

How Can We Help?
I Need Help
CSS serves seniors, families, and persons with disabilities across 23 counties in central and southeastern Ohio. Whether you need food, help paying a bill, transportation to a medical appointment, support for an aging parent, immigration assistance, job training, or simply someone to talk to, we are here. Services are available regardless of faith background.
I Want to Volunteer
There is a role here for everyone. Visit a homebound senior, mentor a child, serve meals, staff an event, or bring your professional skills to a community that needs them. Our Lady of Guadalupe Center
A home for the Latino community in Columbus where culture is honored, language is not a barrier, and families find the support they need to build stability and confidence.
Coming Soon
Our Lady of Hope Center
CSS is committed to expanding its presence in Licking County, a community we have served since 1949 and one of the fastest-growing regions in Ohio. The Our Lady of Hope Center is coming. More details will be shared as this development moves forward.
St. Francis Center
Serving communities throughout southeastern Ohio with practical support for neighbors facing hardship. The St. Francis Center provides clothing assistance, mobile food services to surrounding counties and communities, and boxed meals during the summer months, helping bring essential resources closer to individuals and families in areas where services may be harder to access.
