Ken's Story
Ken is a Vietnam veteran living in Licking County with a disability. In 2018, a hit-and-run accident left him unable to drive and dependent on a wheelchair and walker, with regular medical appointments in Newark and Columbus and no way to get there.
A television ad for CSS Transportation Services and a referral from the Veterans Administration Clinic led Ken to reach out. What followed changed how he experienced daily life.

CSS Transportation Services became a consistent, reliable presence in Ken’s week. Beyond the logistics, Ken describes the CSS drivers and office staff with warmth, noting their friendliness and the dignity with which they treat every rider. Kathryn's Story
After a medical condition affected her ability to manage daily responsibilities, Kathryn found herself relying on others to handle her finances. Over time, she lost access to her own resources and faced mounting challenges securing housing and meeting basic needs.
Through a referral, Kathryn connected with CSS and enrolled in Payee Services. Step by step, with the support of her representative payee, she rebuilt her financial stability: a structured budget, bills paid on time, and consistent housing.
