Our Lady of Hope Center
Catholic Social Services has been serving Licking County since 1949. As the community continues to grow and change, so does the need for accessible, compassionate support for seniors, families, persons with disabilities, and neighbors facing hardship.
The Our Lady of Hope Center represents the next chapter of that commitment. Located at the former St. Leonard property at 57 Dorsey Mill Rd. E in Heath, the future center will create a permanent home for Catholic Social Services in Licking County and strengthen the connection between local neighbors and the programs, resources, and support available through CSS.
The property carries deep roots in the local Catholic community, and CSS is thoughtfully building on that legacy as it prepares the site for its next purpose: serving neighbors.
Expanding Hope in Licking County
The Our Lady of Hope Center is being developed around the needs of people throughout Heath, Newark, and the surrounding Licking County communities.
As the center takes shape, CSS plans to expand access to services that support:
- Seniors and older adults
- Families experiencing hardship
- Persons with disabilities
- Neighbors seeking greater stability, independence, and connection to community resources
Catholic Social Services already provides programs in Licking County, including transportation services for eligible seniors and persons with disabilities. As the new center develops, additional program details will be shared as they are finalized.
A Permanent Home for Service
Plans for the Our Lady of Hope Center are moving forward at the Heath property. The center will allow CSS to deepen its presence in Licking County while creating more opportunities for neighbors to receive support closer to home.
Renderings of the future property show a welcoming, community-centered campus designed to support connection, dignity, and service.
